Mission

Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin is a nonprofit, educational coalition dedicated to protecting the environment and preserving natural resources through waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting.

The Purposes of AROW are:

1) To serve as a networking source for recyclers, existing and potential markets, environmental and non-environmental groups, government officials, equipments manufacturers, equipment dealers, and individuals committed to the recycling cause.

2) To assist members in improving their skills and techniques in recycling through education, research, and the exchange of ideas and technical knowledge in all areas of recycling.

3) To inform the public, law-making bodies, the business community and those involved with solid waste management of the environmental and economic importance of recycling.

Board of Directors Meetings

The AROW Board of Directors meets quarterly and meetings are open to the membership. The next meeting is scheduled for:
                   May 21, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the Portage County MRF, Plover.
