Advocacy
AROW represents a dynamic cross section of the recycling and solid waste industry. The association strives to evaluate and develop proactive legislative advocacy positions based on well-informed analysis of how issues and potential outcomes affect our diverse membership and the industry as a whole.

AROW's Advocacy Policy


AROW's Advocacy Committee
AROW's Advocacy Committee, made up of AROW members, advises and guides AROW's advocacy initiatives. The group is charged with:

  1. Developing an advocacy prioritization matrix;
  2. Summarizing AROW's current policies and positions;
  3. Developing a mechanism by which to develop AROW's position on policies;
  4. Identify current/proposed policies that require AROW's input
