UPCOMING WORKSHOP: Tuesday, September 28, 2010 - Best Western - Grand Seasons in Waupaca, WI

How to Conduct Effective Recycling Outreach to K-12 Schools - and WHY! Learn how schools play an important role in recycling programs.
Have you ever done recycling outreach to your local school district? Are you wondering why would I even bother, or why it has BEEN a bother when you have tried? This workshop was designed to help responsible units, municipalities and haulers realize the benefits of working with local schools to strengthen residential and business recycling programs. Learn how to save community tax dollars by partnering through hauling contracts, merchant MRF tonnage, and resources for school administrators, maintenance staff and classroom teachers. Find out how some of our AROW member communities have made this happen.
