The Hazardous and Special Waste Working Group Strives to:

The Hazardous and Special Waste Working Group will decrease the amount of hazardous and special wastes being improperly managed in Wisconsin by promoting the reduction, reuse and recycling of this waste. These efforts will contribute to the protection of the environment and the preservation of natural resources. The group will:

• Create awareness about hazardous and special wastes
• Actively support groups that are doing research involving hazardous or special wastes.
• Evaluate legislative issues that may impact the management of hazardous and special waste
• Monitor potential funding opportunities for management of hazardous and special waste
